About Us

Steve Sayler
I’m a North Dakota dairy farm boy, born and raised there until my teens when my family relocated to Kittredge, Co.  I’m a graduate of Evergreen High School where I lettered in Rodeo as the 1977 Cutting Reserve State Champion.  After 10 years of pursuit I finally wore Corbi down.  We’ve been married now for over 25 years.  I started my own excavating company when I was 22.  I’m an ‘old school’ sorta fella in a high-tech world.  I still believe in a hand shake and talking face to face and that a man’s word is his bond.  My work ethic comes from the farm – although Corbi says it is ADHD.  My cowboy days are mostly confined to hunting season.  Otherwise I rarely sit down, but when I do, you’ll find me with my family and friends on a beach.  I’m proud of every excavation I’ve ever done and enjoy a solid reputation among some of Evergreen and Conifer’s premier builders, architects and engineers, as well as numerous homeowners.  My most recognizable work is the Evergreen Lake House.
My proudest legacy: my sons.
My motto: Work hard – play hard!

Corbi Sayler
I’m a local girl - born in Denver and raised in Conifer since 1968.  I graduated from Evergreen High School and the University of Northern Colorado.  Steve was my high school sweetheart and is the father of our two adult sons, Clint and Brady.  2012 marked our 25th wedding anniversary and 36 years of our story.  I maintain the corporate books and once in a blue moon I’ll run the Bobcat just for fun.   Steve doesn’t let me run the ‘big rigs’ unless he wants something demolished.  My real ‘work’ however is in keeping up with my three ‘boyz’ in their vocational, education and recreational endeavors.  Besides my ‘boyz’, I love the mountains, beaches and the Denver Broncos.  Creative expressions energize my spirit.  Nature and domestic angels nourish my soul.
